Liquor

Liquor, also known as spirits are alcoholic beverages made of plants or grains and concocted into a potent drink. Simply put, staples like gin, vodka, rum and tequila are all forms of liquor. Liquor also is distilled and has an alcohol content of at least 20 percent, although 40 percent is more common.
